Remington Arms Prepares for Bankruptcy
According to insiders, Remington Arms is preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, following their previous filing in 2018. The Navajo Nation is in talks to purchase the company.

Remington has struggled financially since a weapon produced by them, the Bushmaster AR-15 rifle, was used to kill 26 people in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in 2012. The families of the victims have pursued a lawsuit against the gun manufacturer since 2014, claiming that Remington is at least partially to blame.
