Charge Controller

Topic Progress:

A charge controller regulates the power going into and out of your batteries. A rechargeable battery has a limited capacity, so if your battery is nearly full, the charge controller stops it from trying to absorb extra energy, which can break, disable, or otherwise damage your battery. It also regulates the current in your battery to help prevent accidental discharge. In essence, the charge controller helps make sure your batteries don’t blow up.
